A message from Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Michael Boda to the by-election workers in the constituency of Lloydminster:

On behalf of Elections Saskatchewan, I want to offer our sincere thanks to everyone in the constituency of Lloydminster who helped organize this month’s provincial by-election.

Free and fair elections cannot be run without people just like you. More than 100 residents in your area offered their time to conduct this important event, filling important roles in creating a voters list and working at the polls on by-election day.

Offering your time to serve as an election worker is an opportunity to give back to your community in a meaningful way.

In 2015, Elections Saskatchewan will conduct the province’s largest event ever—a general election. Scheduled for November 2, the election will involve 10,000 election day workers, 3,000 enumerators, and about 800,000 eligible voters from across the province.

I sincerely thank you for your hard work on the by-election and genuinely hope that you and others will join us next year in preparing for Saskatchewan’s 28th General Election.

Sincerely,

Michael Boda
Chief Electoral Officer
Province of Saskatchewan
