August 15, 2017 – Eligible voters in the constituency of Saskatoon Fairview are reminded to get on the voters list, or to update their voter information, prior to the September 7 by-election.
Any eligible voter in Saskatoon Fairview who was on the voters list for the April 2016 general election does not need to re-register. However, if something has changed, such as moving to a new residence, now is the time to update your voter information, either online at www.elections.sk.ca/voterregistration or by calling 1-877-958-8683.
“If your information is still current, you are all set to vote,” says Dr. Michael Boda, Chief Electoral Officer of Saskatchewan. “But if your information needs updating, I encourage you to do so, either online or by calling us. This ensures you receive your Voter Information Card (VIC) in the mail. The VIC tells you where and when to vote, and what ID to bring.
“Registering to vote speeds up your voting experience. It takes just a minute, either online or by phone, to register or to update your information.”
To vote in the Saskatoon Fairview by-election you must:
Voter Information Cards (VICs) will be mailed to all registered voters in Saskatoon Fairview starting August 18. If you are an eligible voter and do not receive a VIC in the mail by August 28, you can register online or by calling us.
If you do not register ahead of time, you can still vote by registering in person on by-election day or one of the five advance voting days.
