Voting Location Change – Community of Wilcox

Lumsden-Morse Voting Location Change

Due to unexpected road construction in the village of Wilcox, we have had to make a change to our voting location in the community. The former location, St. Augustine Catholic Church, will not be accessible so voting will instead take place at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame – President’s Building. The President’s Building is across the street from the church and will be well known to voters in the community. Signage will be posted at the former location to ensure voters understand where to go in order to cast a ballot and an Information Officer will be stationed in the area to help direct voters.

I trust that you will relay this information to your candidates and their candidate representatives. This updated information will also be available on our website.

Second Preliminary Count – Additional Information

Just a reminder to please register for the Second Preliminary Count of vote by mail ballots that will take place on Saturday, August 12 beginning at 1 p.m. I have attached the E-417C form that you can use to appoint candidate representatives to observe these counts.

The constituencies will be counted consecutively rather than concurrently. I will provide you with the order in which we will count the three constituencies on the afternoon of Friday, August 11. If you have questions, please reach out to Jennifer Colin at 306.520.4705 or [email protected]. You can also use this number on Saturday afternoon to access our offices as they automatically lock over the weekend.

All the best to you and your candidates tomorrow as voting come to an end.

Dr. Michael Boda
